Yolonda Jordan became the North Carolina’s Division Administrator in September 2023. Prior to this position, she served as the Special Assistant to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Office of the Administrator. In this position, she provided direct support to the Executive Director for FHWA’s priorities, execution of leadership priorities and coordination with the Office of the Secretary at USDOT. Previous to this position, Yolonda served as the Deputy Division Administrator for the FHWA’s South Carolina Division.   Yolonda began her career with the N.C. Department of Transportation. In 2006, she started with FHWA in the Ohio Division as a Realty and Environment participant in the Professional Development Program.  Yolonda holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from North Carolina A&T State University.
