Drew Joyner serves as the Transportation Planning Department Manager in the AECOM’s North Carolina offices. He has more than 29 years of experience, working on a wide array of transportation projects. Prior to joining AECOM, Drew was a manager for the NC Department of Transportation. His diverse experience includes managing high-profile transportation projects, providing NEPA/SEPA compliance, delivering guidance on transportation solutions, developing/administering comprehensive public involvement plans, analyzing/updating project processes, and working with federal, state and local governments. Drew is a graduate of NC State University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer (NC) and Certified Public Manager.

Drew has been involved with federal grant work since joining AECOM seven years ago; managing grant package development, writing narratives, reviewing applications and providing guidance for numerous successful grant submittals for NCDOT.
