Tristan Winkler is the Director of the French Broad River Metropolitan Planning Organization in Asheville, North Carolina and has worked there since 2014. He has a master’s in urban planning from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and an underutilized history degree from Guilford College. When not working Tristan can be found riding bikes, hiking, playing music, or cooking for his growing kids.
