Lisa Qualls has served the Town of Mooresville since 2011 as the Commissioner of Ward 4 and as Mayor Pro-Tem (2019-2023). She has worked diligently to improve the quality of life for all residents and visitors, making essential decisions about future infrastructure and development in Mooresville. Commissioner Qualls is passionate about bringing well-planned growth to her community, building relationships with regional and state transportation agencies as well as lobbying elected officials for critical community projects. During her time at the Town, she has served on committees such as the Audit and Finance Committee. Commissioner Qualls serves as the current board chair of the Lake Norman Transportation Commission (previously vice chair) and the 2024 chair of the Charlotte Regional Transportation Planning Organization (2023 vice chair). Commissioner Qualls is also passionate about giving back and volunteers for charities including FeedNC.
