Kathy Fulton is executive director of the American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN), where she leads efforts in logistics and supply chain assessment, coordination and education to connect disaster relief organizations with the skills, tools and networks needed to efficiently serve survivors. She leverages supply chain professionals’ expertise to enable responsible disaster relief and build cross-sector relationships that support community resilience. Kathy is a founding member of FEMA’s Supply Chain Analysis Network and the Private Sector Emergency Management Association. She served on the National Academies committee on post-hurricane supply chain resilience and has testified before the U.S. Senate Budget Committee on climate related supply chain costs. Before joining ALAN, she was senior manager of IT services at Saddle Creek Logistics Services, overseeing infrastructure, corporate systems and business continuity. She holds a bachelor’s in mathematics from Northwestern State University of Louisiana and master’s degrees in business administration and management information systems from the University of South Florida.
