Chapin Flynn is senior vice president of transit and urban mobility at Mastercard, where he leads efforts to streamline urban movement and reduce friction in the mobility ecosystem. A hybrid business and technology executive, Flynn has more than 25 years of experience in business transformation, with a focus on innovative commercial data solutions. He began his career in financial services before shifting to urban mobility. Since joining Mastercard in 2017, Flynn has played a key role in major initiatives, including Mastercard Track, the company’s next-generation B2B product vision. He also led global data-for-social-impact efforts for Mastercard’s Center for Inclusive Growth. Flynn served on the U.S. Department of Commerce Trade Finance Advisory Council from 2018 to 2022. He currently advises CGAP (Consultative Group to Assist the Poor) and the University of Virginia’s Social Impact Data Commons. Flynn holds a bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University.
